Our team has a diverse range of backgrounds, skillsets and interests.  A profile of each PositionMEonline team member is available below -

Stephen Mawhinney, Founder & CEO

Stephen has a corporate background, working with technology greats including IBM, EMC and JDEdwards. He started in the internet marketing industry in 2001 and forged key partnerships that led to the growth and success of PMO. Stephen's management skills and visionary approach are a great asset to PositionMEonline and it's clients.

Colin Wee, General Manager

PositionMEonline's General Manager Colin Wee is a business executive who has been involved in electronic commerce and information technology since 1994. His career has spanned three continents and has covered the following areas: Internet training, video on demand, electronic commerce, multimedia systems integration over Internet Protocal, search engine optimisation, online insurance brokering, and web development. Colin has a BBA (Hons) from the Cox School of Business in Dallas, and an MBT from University of New South Wales.

James Mawhinney, Business Development Manager

James was instrumental in setting up PMO in 2001 with Stephen and Colin. He trained in the US under the guidance of one of the industries most respected corporate search engine marketing organizations, Position Technologies Inc. James was PMO's General Manager from 2004-2007 during which he grew the client base to over 350 internationally, and provided high quality internet marketing strategy to a range of clients including Roche Mining, Hawaiian Group, Citect PLC, Quest Serviced Apartments and Richmond Group. James is trained in website content writing specifically for search engines, is a Google AdWords certified consultant and is well in tune with growing social networking and blogging trends.

Brad Russell, Account Manager & Link Popularity Specialist

Brad has been with PMO since its inception in 2001. He was the primary provider of Link Popularity services from 2003-2007 and now manages a team of web developers, designers and link popularity experts. Brad is certified in search engine optimisation and has a thorough understanding of website marketing for SME's.

Ron Stephens, Melbourne Representative

Ron joined the team in 2008 to assist in the national expansion of PositionMEonline's SearchAds service (www.SearchAds.com.au).  Ron's customer management expertise and experience in the corporate IT industry is an asset to the team and a bonus for our clients.  Ron and the team regularly fly interstate to meet for planning sessions, visits to clients, and social interaction.

Minah Munshi, Search Engine Marketing Assistant

Minah works closely with James, Ron & Brad, assisting with the servicing of client accounts and internal marketing.  Her content writing skills achieve excellent results for clients and her capable nature enables her to quickly understand and implement new web marketing technologies as they arise.

Angela Leung, Web Content Writing Specialist

Joining PositionMEonline has given Angela the opportunity to develop her interests in creative writing, IT and accounting.

Five years in the retail industry has given Angela important experience in customer assistance, administration skills, staff management, as well as setting and achieving collective goals. She has also worked in other various fields including hospitality, sales and marketing.

Outside of work Angela enjoys catching up with the latest news and trends, European music and culture, web surfing and reading.

Inga Mawhinney,  Creative Designer & EasyWeb Trainer

Since joining the company five years ago Inga's creative interest has seen her involved primarily in website design working on many of our larger projects creating sites that not only look great but generate business too. 

Inga also puts her extensive experience in our EasyWeb technology to use through customer training, ensuring an enjoyable learning experience by catering for all levels of competence.

Inga's customer service background through her work at one of Perth's leading business newspapers means customer satisfaction comes first in all her work.

Gareth Davies, IT and Network Manager

Gareth has always had interest in computers and technology from a very early age, and has a great background knowledge of the IT industry. Although he started a Computer and Mathematical science degree he lacked motivation for generic desk based programming and opted to pursue a more challenging Civil Engineering degree.

Providing technical management and support for PositionMEonline and its clients, Gareth's role is of utmost importance to the smooth operation of a very much internet focused business.

Stuart McComb, Sydney Representative

Stuart joined PMO in 2002 where he learnt the website optimisation trade. He has a passion for the internet with a keen interest in helping small business entrepreneurs identify and develop new online markets for their businesses.

Stuart graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Science from Macquarie University in 2000.  

He is passionate about the environment, with a love of bushwalking and sailing.  He also has two pet turtles!

Hecate Jay, Web Content Writing Specialist

Hecate was one of the first optimisers trained when PositionMEonline was established in 2001.  She specialises in web content writing and optimisation, and is an experienced web designer.

She also plays an active role in the adventure tourism industry as a qualified bushwalking guide, and is working towards a kayaking instructor award.
 
Hecate has a Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy) and a Diploma of Interactive Multimedia.

Jacklyn Lim, General & Administration Executive

Jacklyn has a corporate HR background and is responsible for account administration at PositionMEonline.
