PositionMEonline is headquartered in Perth and has representation in Sydney and Melbourne.  Currently the company employs 5 full time management staff, 2 part-time administration staff, and 11 contract staff trained in our various specialty services.

In February 2008 PositionMEonline became officially certified by Google to manage AdWords campaigns.

We have successfully services the local, national and international markets since October 2001 as our large client base attests. Our direct business approach and our ability to demystify the understanding and perception that business owners have of the search industry, is our key to our success.

Our core strength is search engine marketing, including traditional search engine optimisation (SEO), link popularity campaign management, and pay-per-click (PPC) campaign management.

Our History

In late 2001 PositionMEonline was setup by James and Stephen Mawhinney to back-end high volume optimisation services work from the United States. Stephen spent 6 months in the US visiting the major search engines and negotiating large contracts with various search engines, domain registrars and marketing companies. James trained in Chicago with Position Technologies Inc. under the guidance of Jim Stob (President). James and Jim attended the Search Engine Strategies conference held in Copenhagen, and visited various leading-edge European search technology developers.

James has met with key search engine industry influencers including Danny Sullivan (editor Search Engine Watch and renowned as 'the search engine guru'), Tomi Poutanen (Yahoo!'s Director of International Search Operations) and Shari Thurow (owner Grantastic Designs, and a high-demand conference speaker).

By March 2002 PositionMEonline had trained 29 contract optimisers, including a select 9 who were trained in writing specifically for the web by Rachel McAlpine (owner Quality Web Content). The majority of trainees had website design skills and an IT background. In late 2002 PositionMEonline turned to providing Australian exporters with quality SEO services. Within 12 months PMO had over 200 clients receiving low cost optimisation services to boost their sales internationally.

In mid-2006 PositionMEonline launched a unique low-cost search engine marketing service to assist business owners to dominate on Google.
