Meet the Team

Stephen Mawhinney, Founder & CEO

Stephen has a corporate background, having held executive and senior management positions with IBM, EMC and JDEdwards. He has three decades of experience providing direct sales, marketing, consulting and business services to small and medium businesses. 

Stephen has a flair for establishing businesses, for turning around small businesses that were producing negative returns, and for assisting business owners with creative, pragmatic initiatives with high returns.  In 2001 Stephen saw great opportunity in the search industry and spent 6 months in USA forging key partnerships that led to the growth and success of PMO. Stephen’s management skills and visionary approach are great assets to PMO and its clients.  He holds a BSc and a postgraduate DBA from Queens University, Belfast.

 
James Mawhinney, Business Development Manager

James set up PMO in 2001 with Stephen and Colin. He trained in the US under the guidance of one of the industries most respected corporate search engine marketing organizations, Position Technologies Inc.

James was PMO's General Manager from 2004-2007 during which he grew the client base to over 350 internationally, and provided high quality internet marketing strategies to a range of clients including Merrill Lynch, Roche Mining, Hawaiian Group, Citect PLC, Quest Serviced Apartments and Richmond Group.

James is trained in website content writing specifically for search engines, is a Google AdWords certified consultant and is well in tune with growing social networking and blogging trends.

James has a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia.

 
 
Simone Lindsay-Rae, Internet Marketing Consultant

Simone is an experienced Online Marketing Consultant with a passion for search engine optimisation. Beginning her online marketing career in Sydney in 2007, Simone migrated back to roots in Perth where she is now helping Perth businesses improve their visibility online and achieve the best return on investment with their online spend.
 
After graduating at Curtin University with a BSc in Food Science and Nutrition, Simone developed a new business from the initial conception process right through to the final stage of a successful sale of  profitable company.

Simone’s key competencies include researching, formulating and implementing online marketing strategies on a national  basis with a successful background in building and maintaining long term client relationships.

 
 
Wade Cockfield, Account Manager

Wade has over 3 years direct industry sales experience working for other prominent Internet marketing firms.

He has been involved with many projects encompassing all levels of Web development and  has a strong desire to improve the monetisation of existing accounts.

Wade’s role as Account Manager underlies his basic passion of helping business realise their best marketing presence on the web.

 

David Kibble, Service Delivery Manager

David’s background encompasses a variety of top IT positions amongst law firms throughout South East Asia including Allen & Overy and Jones Day.  He is experienced in project management and has been responsible for recruitment and implementation of IT systems & teams in countries including Hong Kong, Singapore, India, China & UK.
 
David was educated in Australia and then attended College in England where he studied Computer Science & Electronic Engineering as well as Systems Analysis. He has numerous certifications and completed several modules of a distance learning MBA with Herriot Watt University . He is an ITIL Service Delivery Manager and is presently working on his Green Belt in Sigma six.
 
David manages the Operations Team at PositionMEonline, ensuring our web marketing services are delivered professionally and in a timely manner. 

 
Brad Russell, Senior Team Leader

Brad has been with PMO since its inception in 2001. He was the primary provider of Link Popularity services from 2003-2007 and now manages a team of web developers, designers and link popularity experts. Brad is certified in search engine optimisation and has a thorough understanding of website marketing for SME's.   

 

Jeremy joined the team in early 2008. He studied studied a Bachelor of Science (Information Technology) an Curtin University and now works closely with Brad. Jeremy specialises in website development, website design and link popularity.

Verushka Ciprian, Website Developer

Verushka joined PMO in mid 2009, having just completed her studies at Edith Cowan University. She holds a Degree in Communications, with a double major in Journalism and Film & Video. Verushka recently completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Science (IT) with a focus on the web design and development side, and now specializes in both aspects with us.



Rebecca Scott, Administration

Rebecca joined PMO early in 2009.  She has, for almost 4 years, been an Administration Manager for a small retail company here in Perth.  Previously, she worked in an Administration role with a Direct Marketing Company.

Rebecca has also worked for  MSN – UK, Reading, as a Category Manager (from Perth) before the internet was live and during the transition; hosting charity events, celebrity chats, monitoring the original chat rooms located in the UK area of MSN and trialing beta programs. 

Rebecca has had a strong interest in the internet since its inception and enjoys administration work … working at PMO, she has the best of both worlds!
